Preparations World Ploughing Contest Slovenia now speeding up

On Friday 24th April Michael Deimel, chairman WPO, and Hans Spieker, General Secretary, visited Moravske Toplice in Slovenia.

The organizers of the 56th World Ploughing Contest gave full report on the preparations. It is now confirmed that the programme can be run as stipulated and the final information will be presented before middle of May. At that moment also the registration process for both Officials (Competitors, Coaches, Judges and Board Members) and Visitors will start.

The size for the Stubble plots will be 2000 square meters, for Grassland plots the length will be 90 meters and the size will then be 1800 square meters.

Arrival airports where officials and visitors will be collected on the official arrival date are in Ljubljana Airport Jože Pučnik, Slovenia or Graz Airport, Austria.
